ServView V console drawer 17" LCD

The ServView V offers server management in a space-saving, streamlined package. The tray includes a US keyboard, touch pad and a 17" TFT LCD panel housed in an industry-standard 19" 1U rack drawer, saving you valuable cabinet space.

Control made easy
Save space by using the switching controls on the monitor bezel to control the switching module without pulling open the keyboard drawer. The top of the drawer has an LED lighting bar to make the closed drawer easy to find in a dark rack.

You can install a USB RF or Bluetooth® adapter in the hide-away at the top of the keyboard/mouse tray to access the ServView V and servers with your own wireless keyboard.

Dual-rail Design
The dual-rail design enables the keyboard and LCD display to slide in and out of the rack independently of each other. Store the keyboard out of the way while keeping the display open so you can easily monitor your servers. Check system status even with the cabinet door closed.

Easy in-and-out
The sturdy, slim drawer helps reduce server room clutter. Pull it out and latch it securely in place to use. Or fold your display into the drawer, slide it into the rack, and lock it in place. The ServSwitch V also includes a scratch-resistant surface and a slip-free handle. Installation is easy, too.

Crystal clear
On-screen menus provide quick access to adjust brightness, contrast, screen resolution, and refresh rates. At a 45-degree angle, the LCD monitor automatically shuts down, so you don’t have to worry about leaving it on when you put it away. Additionally, Sun® native resolutions are supported for multiplatform functionality.
Support for VESA DDC 1/2B enables the monitor to automatically adjust to its optimum performance when connected to a server that supports DDC.

Easy to use
The drawer console features a full 105-key, low-profile keyboard with US layout. It also supports Sun and Mac® keyboard mapping. The touchpad has simulated wheel control and is dust- and waterproof. Both the keyboard and the touch pad are replaceable.

Rack it up
The ServView V KVM tray installs in 4-post racks or cabinets with a rail depth of 60,2 cm (23.7") minimum to 115,06 cm (45.3"( maximum. A rackmount kit is included.

Integrated KVM Switching
For even better rack space optimization, the ServView V comes optionally with a wide range of integrated ServSwitches. Choose from single-, 8-, or 16-port KVM switching modules.
The single-port model includes all the cables you need. You will need to order propriety 3-in-1 CPU cables with the 8- and 16-port models’ for USB or PS/2 connections.

Remote control.
For remote server control with space-saving KVM tray technology, consider VGA/PS2integrated KVM switches for your ServView V. These switching modules control up to 8 or 16 multiplatform computers from your KVM tray console, with expansion options to increase the number of servers available. Use convenient network-style VGA/PS2 patch cables and add USB, PS/2, and Sun style server access modules (SAMs) for each server connection.

These switching modules offer various port configurations and remote access options. The non-IP modules provide a KVM extension port that enables a second KVM console to access the switch from 300 meters away using standard VGA/PS2 cabling and a ServSwitch CX Remote Unit.
The switching modules with IP access enable network users to control the switching module from a computer on the LAN or WAN using a VNC viewer or Web browser.
